Well today was my transfer day.. was well and truly dreading it this morning after about 3 hours sleep due to nightmares then a fiasco on the motorway on the way there we only just made it on time.
We were told we have 3 blasts a 4bc a 4bd and a 3 what a relief after the nighmares!
Gotta say transfer was not pleasant give me egg collection any day!
My question is when is testing day usually? Have to wait until monday to ring the clinic but im being rather impatient!

No advice ( haven't had IVF) but I wanted to wish you all the best with the 2ww and hope its successful xyoxo
Yay, well done on ET. How many did you have transferred.
Sorry that your transfer wasn't pleasant, same here - I found mine unbelievably painful, nurse said I was levitating off the bed. But i have severe recto vaginal endometriosis so that was the cause of pain for me.
My OTD was 12 days post 5dt so yours will be similar. Most clinics are around this, give or take 1 or 2 days.
Sounds like it was a stressful journey getting there. I remember my appt was delayed about 40 mins and I desperately needed the loo - as in loose bowels. OMG it was horrendous. I actually had to go, and yet hold my urine in. UGH.. no idea how i managed that to this day. Sorry for TMI but I had a good outcome, despite all the pain, and despite this! I was so stressed out.
It didn't impact the outcome, so don't worry about this things and have a nice relaxing day now.
The embie is now in it's best place... probably snuggling in making a home right now.
I'd recommend laying in bed with hubby, take in each others smells and relax (noting more than that lol) - they say the scents help with implantation (i know it sounds weird but it triggers a hormone response, can't recall where I read that) But we did, and it was actually really lovely.
Also watch something funny on TV, they say comedy and laughing helps implantation too. Or read Hampshiregal posts about her cat a few days ago. Hilarious.. There's not always fun on this IVF journey but she certainly gave us some humour over the last few days.
Good luck and have a lovely day with your little embie at home xx
Ooh sounds like we are doing all the right things haha we are snuggled up on the recliner couch with our jammies on watching step brothers 😂 thanks for the info re otd. I still dont get why its so long away when AF is due friday..
I thought transfer would be so easy but after a few attempts i defo wasnt thinking that anymore!
Yay, did you have transfer the same day. The days are so long really long lol,
Erm not really feeling anything I don't want to get to exciting to be disappointed, day 3 & 4 I had light pre period cramps and really dead legs, now I've just got really dead legs,
First few days are ET I suffered with trapped wind bad but other than that I'm all good just wanting 15th to hurry along. Week today yay 😊
How are you feeling about it all? Is this your first cycle ? x
My daughter had a 5 day blast transfer on the Saturday and it was the next week in the Monday, so 9 days when she had her test at the clinic although she did a home test on the Sunday xx
Welcome to the 2ww. I'm currently in this crazy place. Sorry to hear you had a tough time getting here. So I've been told to test 2weeks after EC. I thought this was quite early but what the clinic advises. I know there is another girl who had EC and ET on the same day but has been given a different test date so it really does varie. Good luck with the wait and if you want to chat xx
Your right it is monday i have my test booked in at 9am praying AF stays away! Ooh PB265 ive got my fingers crossed for you! Im feeling surprisingly good atm i thought id be pessimistic like i have been upto now but optimism has taken over! How are you feeling? Was yours a 5day one too?
Hi all excited about it all...had my transfer last Monday did hpt yesterday and got a very faint positive!!! It is still extremely early so not encouraging it. I was of course not patient to wait until next Monday for official test 😘. Fingers crossed for everyone...relax.
