After a long journey we have finally started our first round of ivf. All has been ok so far during stims and during my scan yesterday morning I got booked in for my egg collection tomorrow. I had my final fyramedel yesterday morning and then took my trigger shot in the evening. However I started having some cramps early yesterday evening and worried I just feel a bit different/less full in the ovaries - I am worried that I may have ovulated early. Is this possible? Has anyone else had similar symptoms?
Thank you x

I remember feeling dull heaviness in both my ovaries before my retrieval. I guess the ovaries are swollen with so many enlarged follicles. I was worried too that I have ovulated prematurely, but it was all ok. Having said that, it’s not impossible, so I hope all goes to the plan for you!
Hey, I'm exactly the same as you - final scan yesterday, fyremedal and trigger yesterday and egg retrieval tomo morning! I've also started to have slight cramps this morning which I haven't had throughout stims. When I spoke to the nurse yesterday and said I didn't have any stomach discomfort so far, she said that may change after trigger because I have lots of follicles. So from that, it sounds like having cramps at this point is very normal (although I'm not sure what would be causing it??). Also, from what I've read, ovulating on stims is extremely rare. So it's very unlikely that both of us are having the same symptoms because we've ovulated!
If you're worried though, you could always give your clinic a call and I'm sure they'll be happy to reassure you We were panicking this morning as we lost some of the decapeptyl trigger shot and they told us not to worry which was helpful. I think everyone must get a bit anxious at this stage so I'm sure they get lots of messages and calls seeking that reassurance.
Hi Zbexbj, thank you for your kind words! Really re-assuring to hear that you are in exactly the same position and feeling the same as me today!
I did end up emailing my clinic and they re-assured me that normal to be feeling some cramps at this stage. I think like you said the anxiety defiantly building at this stage!
Best of luck for tomorrow - keeping fingers and toes crossed xxx
