I failed again š. This was my 4th time that I failed and I have no energy to proceed further. I have changed two clinics so far. The last one which is in Turkey I tried two times. First time we got an embryo which we sent to pgt and it came aneploid. This time I had 4 eggs fertilized and in the end two poor embryos transfered day 6.
I am thinking to change the clinic. What do you suggest? I am afraid that by changing clinics I am making it more difficult for me to succeed.
Have you changed clinics after two negative cycles?

How do you find them generally love? Do they seem supportive, willing to try different things? If so, it might be worth sticking as sometimes, awful as it is, it's 'a numbers game '. But if you don't feel supported or listened to, might be worth changing. So sorry you haven't had success x
Dear AuroraXen, they are professional but they don't seem to care much. All they say is we have to try. They don't push for more tests to find out what is not working but the insist to continue with the same protocol with some minor changes.
Go with your instinct. We switched clinics 3 times and the last one we went to was in N. Cyprus. I felt it was right for us, finally. We now have a DE baby from that clinic.
If you feel, it's the right move and you'll get more support there, be heard, be given proper attention, then go for it. Wishing you the best of luck. xx
It's a tough journey. But, you can do it! Throughout this journey, I've come to realize that there are no limits to what we can achieve, even when we feel we've reached our breaking point. Lots of positivity your way. xx
I would change clinics if I were you. I had two failed ICSI cycles at a well-known clinic in central London. I could tell that their team were highly disorganised and treated me like a number. But changing clinics felt too much of a pain - the amount of admin work, time and money etc. So I stayed with them and went on to have more devastatingly failed cycles. If there was a time machine, I wish I had changed clinics. You know when things aren't great and some changes need to happen. x
Thank you LRed. In my first clinic I have waisted 6 months for an ERA test and I don't forgive myself. That's why I am thinking to give clinics no more than two tries. Time flies and I have to hurry up so no months to wait. Thank you for replying.
hello! I am sorry to read of your unsuccessful cycles. Go with your gut wort regard to clinic. I think most people are just numbersā¦IVF is Like a job - trying to stay on top of appointments, medication and constantly chasing etc for answers and next steps. What I really came on to say. And I know you know this - it is a numbers game. I think I may have had 8/9 transfersā¦ maybe more (I cannot remember a combination of frozen and fresh). I also did the era and pgt and I had both unsuccessful rounds and only 2 successful rounds in nearly 9 years. So from all the additional testing re: era atleast you know what your optimal time is. This will be useful for the future. I swapped from a prestigious Harley street clinic to one that is closer to my home! No difference in price and still the same just a patient number attitude but it was the ease of getting there and backā¦ I basically walked home after embryo transfer! 20 min tops!
If they are not delivering the standard care you deserve then move but I think cycles are like, it takes as many as it takes.. unless there are issues they are not picking up and investigating. Much ā¤ļø
