I had a failed ICSI cycle at the end of January. I have been using ovulation tests and found out that I ovulated on the weekend. However, I had really horrible pain on one side that lasted for a day, back ache and felt incredibly hot. I’ve never had this around ovulation before. Has anyone experienced this pain during the first ovulation after treatment? Thank you

it did happen to me after my first cycle of IVF, I started having pain during ovulation, and my cycles also changed slightly (they got shorter). During my third (and lucky) cycle the doctors at my new clinic found out that I had a cyst that did not resolve by itself, which is usually the case. The doctors at my previous clinic didn't even mention the possibility of a cyst when I said my right ovary was sore. During the second cycle they just didn't access the ovary. How sloppy...
Anyway, my advice is to keep track of the next few cycles, and if it keeps happening to have a scan to your ovary.
hi, so sorry your cycle was unsuccessful. I had an unsuccessful round in Jan and this is the second time I am ovulating and I’m SO bloated! It’s a little uncomfortable lying down and sitting. Oh it’s the gift that keeps giving isn’t it! Lots of luck for you xx
