Confused: what does this mean?

So I've just been told that the reason my follicle may not be growing is due to "dysfunctional follicle secondary to the egg quality in that follicle". This is on a monitoring cycle with 6x 150 meriofert injections.

Can anyone actually explain what this means / could mean? I'm about to start IVF next month but now seriously concerned that my follicles are all empty / not going to get any mature eggs etc.

hey gabby2011, sorry I can’t explain what that means but you really need to speak to your consultant and get them to explain exactly what it is to you, so you can at least have some peace of mind and or come to terms with what it is. Good luck xxx
