Hi everyone. I had my pregnancy test today after having a 5 day Blastocyst transferred 9 days ago. My HCG level is 12.9. I was told it needs to be above 50 to be a positive result and below 5 to be negative. I have to wait another week for another test to see if the level has gone up or down. This just feels like torture. Does anyone have experience of low HCG level? It doesn't sound good to me but I want to know whether it's worth having some hope still or not.

Pregnancy test HCG level 12.9- What does this mean.
Hey when are you due to do the official blood test at the clinic? It's still really early, don't panic xx
That was my official bloodtest today. It was inconclusive. The nurse wasn't very forth coming on what my chances were. X
My friend had blastos implanted, she tested before the date and got a positive on clear blue. The clinic did a test 13 days post 5 DT and her levels were 3000. BUT I understood anything over 5 is a possibility?!
I wish you all the luck in the world xx have you tried clear blue out of curiosity?
No I haven't tried a home test. I might in the morning. Thanks for your help x
Ahhh I really hope you get good news, especially after everything.
I know with my friend she's finding out that Now she's pregnant, she has new stresses and worries
Hang in there honey x
It could just be your HcG hasn't doubled at normal rate yet. They do another test to see if it has increased or decreased.this happened to me with my first cycle in September. I kept getting stronger and stronger hpts but when they did my blood test it was only 7. My clinic was very matter of fact with me.
Stay positive a slow HcG rate happens to people all the time and still successful. With a score of 12.9 it is classed as pregnant. X
For me the story didn't end well. Sadly I didn't make it the week. But the extra few days were like hell thinking about nothing else. The best I can suggest is to keep yourself busy. Don't let yourself dwell. I have my fingers crossed for you. X
My HCG was 14 on test day. 2 days later it was 281. I'm now 26 weeks pregnant with twins. I know how you feel, that waiting and not knowing if you should celebrate or commiserate is horrid. It's a cliche but what will be will be. I've got my fingers crossed for you. Xxx
On test day mine was 35. Nurse was very honest with me, said it could be the embryos had a taken a day or so longer to implant than expected, or it had worked but the pregnancy was ending. It's harsh I know, but I told her I'd rather know the truth. Retested a week later. We were hoping it to be at least 600 I think, it was 1022, the nurse even double checked 3 times because she was shocked how high it had gone lol. Sadly I suffered placental abruption at 4 months so our daughter didn't make it, (but that's a very rare thing, only happens in 1% of births without rhyme or reason for us, so pls don't worry about it) but I do remember that week being worse than the 2wk wait. I won't lie, I did a pregnancy test every day that week lol. Just remember, at this point, the only thing you can do is rest, look after yourself, and rest some more. All the very very very best luck in the world to you xxx
Awww you guys are all so nice. Your post made me cry. I sort of feel like I'm going through this on my own for various reasons and hearing from all of you has raised my spirt a wee bit and made me feel less alone. Xx
