Hi, this is my first post...I went for ultrasound on 8th day of my cycle and doctor told me that follicle on left side ovary is 1.5*1.4. I wanted to know when it would rupture to increase chances of getting pregnant.

I was told it needs to be between 1.8 - 2.4mm to ovulate and it roughly grows at 0.2mm every day x

They should really call you a few more times for scans and then once it is 1.8 mm you can choose for them to give you a trigger shot and you will ovulate 36 hours after the trigger, if you try naturally the time to baby dance would be from the day of the trigger upto 48 hrs!

Thank you Shil....My doctor asked me to come on day 12 to check whether it would rupture ...I have only one fallopian tube on left side...M TTC from past 1 yr ...Every time I keep reading posts so that I would get some information which will make me cool....I feel I am going crazy thinking of this all time...From day 1 to complete cycle..Hoping for this month ...
