Prgynova 2MG

Hi,

I have been prescribed prgynova because my previous failed cycle didn't produce many eggs at egg retrieval despite having really good AMH levels and responding well initially to the antagonists.

The issue is they all grow at different times therefore the Dr has suggested prgynova to support folicle growth at the same time.

Has anyone else has this and was it successful?

Your situation sounds similar to mine. .My first cycle was a short protocol on a low dose of stimulation (225units) as my AMH is 14.

I had 8 eggs collected and then left with only 1 day 3 embryo to transfer which unfortunately failed. We was left with no embryos from that cycle.

When we had our follow up appointment with the doctor, the issue was my follicles from both ovaries were growing at different sizes not in clusters that they like.

So for my next cycle, they put me on a long protocol with down regulation medication (I had suprecur) and high dose of stimulation (300 units) my follicles responded so much better growing together in size from both ovaries.

I had 16 eggs collected, 13 mature, 8 fertilised and 7 embryos made it to day 5 blastocyst.

I had better outcome with the long protocol.

No thank you so much that makes me feel more confident. I am going for a freeze all as my lining is too thick and the estrogen is likely to make it thicker so this option seems best but I am just hoping I have enough eggs to have a chance as this is my last go .. but this message definitely gives me hope so I appreciate you so much for replying 💗
