Results of egg collection

So yesterday I had my egg collection and there was 8 eggs ,the doctor has called me today and said 4 of them have fertilized, which I'm extremely happy about its doubled from last time ,Monday they will tell me the quality of the eggs so fingers crossed I've got a few mature ones 😁 .

Good luck, I had my call yesterday about my fertilised eggs too and it was also good news! How are you feeling after egg collection? I still feel quite crampy xx

Awww brilliant glad you had good news it was awful waiting for that result while I was in work ,yes I've been absolutely fine the egg collection didn't bother me at all and I was fine afterwards to i feel a little bit of pressure today around my ovaries but I have had no problems ,good luck fingers crossed for you x

Wishing you all the best, I was in a similar position. They retrieved from me 8 eggs, 5 of which were mature and 4 that fully fertilised.

I had my first failed round of ivf in March and due to go for my second round probably Jan now.

Went for an hysteroscopy yesterday (camera in the womb) I have pcos and endometriosis so will find out the outcome on my next appointment.

The only thing I can recommend is I had the transfer the same month of my egg collection and my consultant said second rounds are likely to be more successful as you're not doing both in the same cycle. I've done alot of reading online that suggests the same.

It's your body and choice but if I could go back, I wouldn't do both in my same cycle, but it does ofcourse work for many people too xxx
