HRT FET - Day of transfer?

Hi everyone and thanks for the lovely support in this group - it’s been a comfort reading all the previous posts.

I’m doing my first HRT FET, and just wondering around what day of the cycle people’s transfers were? My plan says to take oestrogen from day 1, then have a scan on day 8, and that’s it. I’ve asked the clinic and they said to wait until my day 8 review - but it would be helpful to have some idea of the window as it’s already stressful enough and I’d love to block off some potential days off work work.

My background- unexplained infertility (presumably age, being now 41), 4 stims and 2 previous stims for egg freezing, have 2 euploid and 4 untested embryos from all of this, and a fibroid causing some uterine distortion that will need to be removed if this transfer doesn’t work. It all feels high pressure as they’ve said I have a higher risk of pregnancy loss from the fibroid but it’s hard to quantify and also very controversial to remove it (difficult location and can’t be done hysteroscopically) so that’s why we are trying one transfer first and crossing everything that it works! hey Learningdaybyday got my fingers crossed for you! I’m currently in the 2WW from a frozen embryo I had transfered yesterday. I was on HRT oestrogen from day 1 as well, had a tracking day scan on day 12, and then transfer day was on day 20. So to help with timings I’d say count 20 days after you started taking the oestrogen, and roughly that would be when your transfer would be (that’s presuming it’s a 5 day blastocyst embryo) x

My tracking scan has generally been Day 10 or 11 with transfer between Day 19 and 22. X

Thanks so much everyone! Seems like there’s some variation so maybe that’s why I don’t have a plan yet. The uncertainty of IVF is so hard! Appreciate the replies xx
