Gonal-F experience

My current (second) IVF cycle will probably be cancelled because they see only two little follicles πŸ’”

In my first IVF cycle, I had 13 big follicles. In that first cycle, I started with Gonal-F and 10 days later I started with decapeptyl injections.

However in this second cycle, which is done in a new hospital, I started with inverse order. They asked me to start with decapeptyl and start with Gonal-F 10 days later.

Last month, even without the injections, I had 5 follicles. But this month with the second IVF injections, I have only 2 follicles. It feels like injections worked negatively instead of doing any help.

We are wondering whether the second cycle is administered wrongly by inverting the medication order. Does anyone have any opinion on this?

Hi,

Did you do a long protocol IVF?

How our clinic does is -

- 1st cycle contraceptive starts from day 3 of period after echo

-From day 14/15 start with Decapeptyle and continue taking the oral contraceptive

- 21 day oral contraception ends but deca injection continues

- 3 rd day of period start with gronal along with Deca so 2 injections

- until before trigger shot both continues

That looks like what I had in this current IVF cycle (2nd one) where I didn't develop eggs (well two very little follicles) πŸ˜”

In my first IVF the medications were in reverse order and I developed 13 follicles with 8 eggs.

It is not possible to understand which one was wrong and why I didn't develop anything this time.

Not what you're looking for?
