sorry you are in this position, my previous transfer started with a initial low result and I found all the testing so stressful and awful. I suppose I would say it doesn’t look took good that the levels are increasing as they should but they haven’t gone down yet? Definitely reduction would indicate a miscarriage 😢
I really hope you get answers soon and arent stuck in the awful limbo land 😘 xxx
Hey Cutecolliedog. Thanks for replying. Yeah I'm prepared for the worst Dr this morning to get referral for EPU. It's hard isn't it as you just want to get off the meds and get back to normal ASAP but this process of coming away can go on for a longtime in my previous experience prior to IVF. Also worried as the D&C I ended up having in 2017 is what caused me my infertility issues but I'm not sure the tissue will come away in its own as the scar tissue I have has a habit of growing over my cervix.. so not sure what's best there. Hopefully things move naturally and quickly once off he meds.
Thanks again. Hope things are going in right direction for you. I had my transfer on 30th Jan so we weren't far apart. When do you have your scan?
My scan is actually today which I feel really nervous that it will be a repeat of previous transfers 😭 I know I should try and be positive but it’s proving to be challenging …
I think the waiting part is awful and just keeps you in suspense for ages. I suppose they have to follow the protocol. Sorry to hear about your previous issues. With the hcg not being too high it will probably not be too much tissue, would you consider waiting and seeing if it passes naturally? My first transfer mine did that and it took a week to bleed after I saw a reduction in hcg xxx
Oh sending you lots of positive vibes. Have you had bloods this time and they look OK? Have they given you any reason around the early loses you previously experienced? Yes when the hcg starts to come down and they let me come of the meds hopefully I will bleed and things will settle quickly that's all I can hope for at this point think.
I have 2 more shots. But I'm 45 now using donor eggs. And this journey has been sooo long and traumatic with massive issues with a UK Clinic. I'm now abroad.
I have everything crossed for you today. Please do update and let me know. Xx
Yes I did get bloods right at beginning but only did it twice has didn’t want to try and get obsessed with it as it gets expensive (my clinic don’t offfer bloods). Unfortunately we are unexplained for infertility and recurrent miscarriages 😢 I wish I had an answer sometimes but suppose we have to keep going.
That’s great you have two more to try, that must be so difficult having to go abroad for treatment. It looks like there are lots more choices of clinics though with really good statistics/reviews. I always wondered if they might give better care than what we have available in the uk. Have you found your clinic in Spain much better?
Hey! So it went ok and we have a heartbeat and growing to our dates. Only thing was our yolk sac was quite large so unsure how that will go. I asked if I could get another scan next week 🤞
Well this is a positive result for you 😍🙏 no idea what a large sac means diagnostically? I'm booked into EPAU today. Scan and hopefully bloods as dint think anything will be seen on scan so need bloods xx so pleased it went well for you.
They weren’t super concerned when you google it comes up with horrible stuff of really high chance of miscarriage but we will see! As I had a heartbeat and measured ok for my dates I’m not sure if that is as relevant to me 🤷♀️ I’ve stopped googling as that’s probably best!
that’s good you are getting more done, hopefully it will become clearer what is happening so you’re are t stuck wondering xxx
I’m so sorry 😭 that is good news though, so you know your body can do it just that embryo went to the wrong place! Doesn’t make it less gutting though for now. Do you think you will wait a bit before doing another transfer?
I hope it goes down quickly for you, when ever mine is monitored after a miscarriage it seems to half every two days, not sure if that is standard/normal. I really hope your next transfer is more successful xxx
