So after my very small amount spotting on Tuesday things have settled but I had my bloods checked for reassurance - so much for that.
All was looking good on Wednesday with an HCG of 20,000 and then today it is only 30,600. I'm 6 weeks today.
I have been reading that at this stage it starts to take a little longer to double but now I'm completely paranoid. I'm really not enjoying all of this at all as I'm so stressed. This is the time it all went wrong before. There is no spotting now but literally I had a couple of pinpoint brown specks on my liner which I'm trying not to think about.
I have turned into a crazy person. My scan is a week away.

The normal range charts are available online....its a huge normal range. It looks as if you are doing well. If you feel well don't fret. Why don't you go to your local epu for a little reassurance 😆
I'm sorry I'm not sure of the best thing to say to help you relax but I know that it sometimes helps just to know that you have support and people that care (even if you don't know them!). Just wanted to say that I wish you all the best x
After many years of trying and failures with IVF, when you get the bfp and especially in the first 12 weeks, you've had so many kick in the teeth, you're almost expecting things to go wrong, especially when you've had early m/c before.
The first 12 weeks were a LIVING HELL for me and my wife, expecting things to go wrong, terrified at scans at 7 weeks, then we did a harmony test and expected the worst at 10 weeks, it was never ending. We only started to ease off and actually enjoy the coming baby when my wife reached 21 weeks and the scan was showing a perfect baby, up to then it was crazy.
You're not crazy, try not to worry ( I know its impossible) and best of luck for your scan next week! x
You are completely normal. At this stage I don't think it even rises that much more but definitely takes much much longer. Hopefully this article will help. It is basically telling me that it would actually be abnormal for your numbers to double at this stage xxxx
Hi, I know when I went to epu mine was 56,000 I was a bit further on than you , they told me they wouldn't double at that level and as long as they were rising they were happy , you have good numbers try not to worry x
Just heard back from my clinic in Spain and my doctor there isn't concerned. They wanted me to have a scan on Monday but don't want to have it too early and then have the stress of not finding a heartbeat. Gonna try and hold out until 7 weeks on Friday 😵
Bloody hell! You are in the normal range hun! Don’t let paranoia get the better of you, I know you must be desperate for that reassurance! But it’s not long my lovely 😊
Keep positive, I’m sure is all ok this time ❤️💜🧡💛💚 xxxxx
Easier said than done but try not to worry, I bleed for 3 weeks some brown, some bright red etc and I have a beautiful baby girl now. Even though your numbers haven’t quite double they are still very high ( how many did you have transferred) xx
I had 2 blasts transferred. I’ve also wondered about a multiple pregnancy especially as twins also run in my husband’s family.
We had a chat tonight about how logistically we would fly home with twins and a collie (we plan on moving back to the UK after the birth). We decided it was too scary and ridiculous to think about!
It could possibly be multiples then, my numbers where really high as initially I was expecting twins but we lost one around 8/9 weeks. Hope everything goes well and keep us updated xxx
just caught up with your recent news... Hoping things are ok still? I don't know much about HCG levels as my clinic didn't test... But they're going in the right direction so try and focus on that. I know you know this, and it's easier said but stress won't help. worry if there's something to worry about and try and relax while it's ok. Fingers crossed for you and hoping Friday comes around quick! Xx
Keep your chin up until the scan. We had 2 embryos transferred and I suffered a massive bleed with clots at 6 weeks. I was past myself given my history. I’m 19 weeks along now. The consultant decided the bleed was due to one embryo not taking. So we lost one, but the other little peanut is doing just fine. x
Wishing you all the best. I have read stories of people having big bleeds and all still being well. I really really hope this is the case for you xxx
