Bleeding on 7dp5dt

Hi All,

So I had a positive pregnancy test from 5dp5dt. My lines were getting darker and when checked this morning, it remained strong. I went to my clinic this morning for a HCG blood test and before I left, noted that there was a medium amount of pink / red blood. I spoke with the clinic nurse who told me to keep an eye on it. However when I went to the toilet again this afternoon, I noticed a small dark brown clot and red blood.

I can't help but think this is all coming to an end 😪

It can be super common to get bleeding during pregnancy but I know how triggering it can be too. I hope it calms down and you are reassured by your blood result - getting a positive at only 5dp5dt is great though you must have had super early implantation! x

also forgot to say if taking progesterone pessaries vaginally sometimes this can be irritating and cause bleeding so might be worth taking the back route?

Hope spotting has settled down As 1st post says bleeding is common during pregnancy and can be due to different things - extra hormones mean cervix has more blood flow and can be irritated by using pessaries Also be aware in case it is the start of a urine infection [ smelly urine pain on peeing ] may need to see GP Hope have people around you for support
