hi. I am wondering if there is anyone who has experienced what I’m doing through and just need some positive support. So I had my 3day transfer yday - we transferred two embryos - one was split in to 5 cells and one was split in to 4 cells. I was told by the embryologist that my embryos are growing but a day slow. The chances of them implanting are quite less compared to good embryos before. Just wondering if anyone has come across this before and if there are any positive stories which can put my mind to ease. It will be a long two weeks

I don’t have the exact same experience, but I remember that one of our day 5 blastocysts reached that stage on day 6. Either way though, the best place for them will always be inside of you as opposed to a dish - that’s what the lab always told us. So they might pick up their development now that they’re in. Fingers crossed and best of luck!
I too got told I had a slow growing embryo on my day 5 transfer (only one fertilised for us), however, the embryologist seemed to think it was being put into its best environment. We were hoping for a graded blastocyst but it was the only one so they went with it. Will love to see how you get on and got my fingers crossed for you. Xx
Hi Maria, this is very similar to our situation 3 years ago. We only had two embryos by day 3, and one was 2 cell and the other 4 cell. By the time I came in for the transfer, I think the 2 cell had become a 4 cell. Anyway, to cut a long story short, it was our successful round. I was 37 at the time, and our clinic also warned us that the chance of implantation would be slim. But both implanted. Unfortunately, one baby didn’t make it, but we were blessed with one beautiful daughter. Yeah I totally feel you, the two weeks can really drag. Hang in there, and do what you need to do to pass the time. Hope you find your BFP lovely x
thank you
it was a BFN.
oh no. I’m sorry to hear that. I haven’t start bleeding again. I’m not sure if I can put myself through the trauma of retesting. I hope you get your positive. From here on wards not sure what to do. The whole process is financially and mentally destroying.
