extremely low hcg levels and stopped rising

Hi! I'm 7 weeks pregnant and my hcg levels stopped rising, they only went up by 2% over 48 hours, my hcg levels are only 593 it looks like I'm going to miscarry very soon, then did a scan last week and saw the sac the yolk sac and the fetal pole measuring 1.7mm which is strange considering my extremely low hcg levels, I'm going for another scan tomorrow to see if there is a heartbeat and to see what's happening. I'm just wanting to hear women's stories of extremely low hcg levels like mine and to see what the outcome was, is it possible to have extremely abnormal low levels like that and to have a successful pregnancy xx

I've lost the baby, it hasn't grown and there is no heartbeat I have to have a d&C done, we can only afford to try one more time in 3 months, I'm absolutely heartbroken😢😢

oh my gosh i am so so sorry :( this happened to me at 9 weeks and did d&c too, it is so sad im so sorry. I had my fetus tested and it was Trisomy15. May be worth getting it tested too seeing as you're doing d&c anyways x

That's ok, I'm so sorry you experienced it as well, it's so hard to cope with, it makes it harder since my 22 year old daughter is 22 weeks pregnant, I can't afford to get it tested otherwise I would xx

i don't think it cost any extra to get it tested - was included in the d&c price if i remember correctly but yours may be different xx

I'm getting it done at Flinders medical centre, I don't have to pay for it I don't think xx

ah ok, mine cost $1000 :( not a nice experience regardless of cost :( xx

I had the same as you by the way - a silent miscarriage – my body still thought I was pregnant, which was just even more heartbreaking :( xx

I'm sorry to hear that you had the same thing happen, it makes it very hard when your body still thinks it's pregnant😢xx
