Me again. Had my bHcg today .. 2 weeks after my 3rd FET. I am now with mixed feelings. Pregnancy test is positive but with low hcg only 58U.. doc told me it should be more than 200U.. so he isn't sure if this pregnancy sustains.. he just simply asked me to come next week and get another blood test done.. has anyone gone through this ? Is low Hcg a great concern ? Is there something I can do to increase it naturally .. please help me

Hi Frida, Im sorry that you are going through such an uncertain time. Unfortunately there is nothing that you can do at your end to increase it, its just down to nature. The Dr will be looking to see that your levels double every 48-72hrs. I was in your situation and my levels did go up nicely but we did lose the pregnancy later however I remember someone else was able to give me reassurance that her pregnancy went ok. Good luck.xx
Thank you! We think it was probably due to low progesterone as I lost it spontaneously but I honestly couldnt say 100%. Like your Dr, ours warned that the prognosis of the pregnancy being viable was low.xx
Unfortunately low hcg has always been an indicator of a non viable pregnancy for me but I have heard people having healthy babies as long as it continues to double x
HCG levels can be low either because something is not quite right with your embryo, or because your HCG levels just happen to be low - the low level in itself won't cause any problems so you don't need to be worrying about raising it. It's just that the low HCG could be caused by a problem with the pregnancy - this happened to me, I had an embryo with a chromosome problem, the first sign was low HCG early on but then I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. On the other hand, some women just naturally have low HCG and it's not a cause for concern. I hope everything is fine for you - you just need to hang in there and keep looking after yourself and see how things go. Sorry that you are going through such a stressful time. Just remember that if your embryo is ok, things will be fine - if the low HCG does turn out to be a problem, it would be because this embryo wasn't viable. I really hope it turns out that everything's ok. It may take until 6 weeks when you can have a scan to really find out what's going on xx
At 10dp5dt my HCG was around 80. Up until week seven, it was almost doubling every 48-72 hours. I had a scan at week 6 and went back week 7 for another. They thought they could see something but no definite sack. I started bleeding that day.
It was so disheartening after getting positive tests. I always thought that would be it.
My experience didn't end well but I hope it all works out for you. X
Thank you ladies for all your stories. Unfortunately today after a week my result turned from BFP ( hcg 58) to BFN with a hcg level less than 5. Hoping it works in the next cycle.
Thanks all for the love.. But I guess I cannot be relieved until I get BFP with good levels of hcG and progesterone.. I just can't wait for it. Is it ok not to wait for long and proceed already with FET in my next upcoming cycle.
