Just reaching out to other ladies going through FETs with Endometriosis before lap surgery.
does anyone have any positive stories?
If IVF doesn’t work out this year was going to look into Lap surgery. I am on the waiting list to see a gynaecologist, but the waiting list is a year ! In my area.

Better to get endometriosis checked out first so hope all goes well with your appointment - maybe call them to see if they have a list if anyone should cancel their appointment and yours could hopefully be brought forward
Take care

Hi C-a-t-m-u-m - I don’t have a positive story yet, but due to have an FET in spring with stage 4 endo. If this fails we will go down the lap route, I am also on the wait list. I shall keep you posted. Interested to hear other stories. Sending love x
Thank you for your msg, I’ve never had mine checked out! It’s definitely on my left ovary but I think it’s on my bowl aswell painful going to the loo. Sending best wishes.
I have stage 4 endometriosis, only found out a year ago I had endometriosis. I have not had any surgery or lap. As they recommended due to mild symptoms at the time of referral to complete my family first and then do an operation due to risk of damaging my ovaries. (Even though I have large endometriomas on my ovaries).
I did first time IVF with a fresh transfer in November and I am now 12 weeks pregnant. Had a 7 week scan where everything seemed fine. Having the routine nhs scan tomorrow as I am 12 weeks and couple of days tomorrow.
I guess I still have a long way to go, but this was my first time with IVF and my endometriosis is severe and the progesterone and hormones did make it more inflammatory as my symptoms are mainly in my bowels.
Thank you for your reply! It made me smile and congratulations 🥳
I am very lucky as I have an ivf miracle from a fresh round over 2 years ago. We tried for 3 years had all the tests but nothing. I was diagnosed with Endo on my ovary when I had my emergency c section. Since having him my pains have got worse! I get pain when I need to move my bowls and my period was quite painful last month.
Would love a sibling for my little boy 😊 definitely going to investigate further if ivf doesn’t work out again. We have spent £10k trying for a sibling.
Yes please who did you contact for your MRI? And how much approx if you don’t mind me asking! Xx
just a side note, to get my diagnosis I went private.. as the waitinglist where and still are insane and I didn’t want to wait to long with fertility in mind. It is a bit of money, and I did a full body MRI that was looked at by an endometrosis specialist. I got told I needed an invasive and intens surgery as it is everywhere. If you want to know more regarding that you can private message me.
