How is an immune test is done? Only blood tests or is it done by collecting sample tissues for biopsy? Did you have any benefit of having immune test? Do you have any clinic that you can recommend me?

Did anyone have immune test to identify why embryos do not stick? How did it work? any benefits?
my daughter had immune testing after numerous miscarriages, her clinic didn’t believe in immune therapy so she had to go to a different clinic for this testing she had blood tests (her consultant said wanted her to have a biopsy too but this would have delayed her treatment which she didn’t want so chose not to have that done ) which showed her NK cells were high, so on her next pregnancy she followed the immune specialist protocol and not her ivf clinic, she had IVIG, LIT therapy and then every 4 weeks Intralupids. So far this has worked for her, only thing I would add is that it is so expensive and overall the testing and treatment has cost more than one round of ivf, however it’s got her closer to her goal of being a mum x

warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/med/r... just to let you know you can also self-refer, no need to go via your GP
wow excellent! thank you so much for sending this link! I never heard of it. We will definitely try!
No worries! It’s probably worth mentioning this biopsy tests 3 things (details are on the website) but only one is for immune issues (NK biopsy). If you want to consider more in depth immune testing it might be worth looking up Prof Hassan Shehata’s NHS practice in Epsom or his private clinic. There are only a v small number of places in the country that do in depth immune tests x
