Sensitive - in shock with NK

Hi all

So after 4 years of TTC and 2 failed IVF cycles, I’ve been waiting fir AF to arrive so I can start my stims. Well after being 4 days late we thought better do a test. To my absolute shock I got a BFP! I’ve since done 3 to check it was a dud or a dud pack 😂 I was awake for 3 hrs last night with excitement. While I realise we have a long road still upon us I’m enjoying this win after so many fails and pray that everything else will be ok 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I was wondering if anyone else fell naturally with NK cells and did you have to then take any immune system drugs after you got your BFP? Waiting fir my clinic to open and every minute feels like an hour!

Yes luckily I asked my boss if I could start working from home for the foreseeable future in the lead up to IVF.

Just watching the news with regards to pregnant women being at risk, which is worrying as 12 weeks isolation will drive me insane!

Easier said than done but don’t get glued to news, can raise anxieties too much. Take one day at time and for now just keep chuffed after your test xx

I was being treated for killer cells on my final round but I wasn’t tested for them it was just a case of let’s see what it can do. That round failed and I fell naturally the month after. Like you I was waiting for AF to arrive and thought I’m just late cause of all my meds and didn’t believe the tests. I’m now 15 weeks x

Omg amazing! I literally feel like this can’t be real and don’t think I’ll believe it till I see the scan ❤️

I’m waiting for a call back from the clinic to let me know if I should take any immune system drugs to prevent miss carriage etc.

I was exactly the same, I just kept saying lets see and it wasn't until about 10 weeks in I started feeling comfortable talking about it. even after our 12 week scan I was nervous telling people for fear of jinxing it.

I hope you get some answers from the clinic, I have to say I was left to it because I fell naturally so hopefully you get some advise x

That’s exactly how I feel! I’m to scared to mention it fir fear of jinxing it. It’s going to feel like forever before my scan!

Ha ha ha yes the nerves are terrible after we see those 2 lines. Thank you! Its not looking like its going to be anytime soon. Like lots of other clinics, ours is not doing any treatment just now. Will just have to see how this virus situation pans out! Good luck.xx

Do you have any pregnancy symptoms congrats to you I have also had an ectopic and three miscarriages so I know what it’s like to see two lines jus think positive I am also four days late on my period I took a test four days ago and it was neg and I don’t have any symptoms I might pick up a test today x

Only that my boobs are sore but other than that, nothing...

Hopefully my scan won’t be to long. The nurse said she wants to go by the weeks on the digital stick which I tough was strange as normally it’s done by your date of last period...

Yes you should try again especially if your period hasn’t started. Good luck!! Xx

So the clinic have asked me to continue with clexane , aspirin and utrogestan Until further notice! X
