after long conversation with embryologist and him telling me that if I transfer the one not expanded with second good embryo they thawed after which was much better and expanded fully, it will have a higher rate miscarriage and harm the good one so with that I decided to transfer one, and a bit upset that the other one is now gone
On a positive note atleast got one transferred and hope for a miracle 🤞🏽

I have read that a poorer quality could affect a better one. I have only had 1 double with 2 of the same grade. Hopefully after all this extra stress this is the Xmas miracle 🙏🏼
The consultant said the same and said that I would risk the better embryo if I transferred the one that was only 80% expanded the storage thing is the embryo with slightly lower grade expanded fully and looked better.
Thank you hun I really hope so xxx hope you are doing well xxx
Thank you for asking I’m ok trying to relax and forget everything, was really emotional last night crying a lot can’t sleep much but I’m doing my best to keep positive.
I’m feeling ok thanks. Finding in getting periods of really feeling ok and not just the constant miserable feeling I’ve been stuck in for the past year. Hope it lasts!! X
I was in a different situation as it was a fresh transfer so option 1) either transfer one good one and discard the other as it wasn’t good enough to freeze or option 2) transfer one good and one not suitable to freeze transferred together, this has been our ‘Sophie’s choice’ the last 3 egg collections.
The first 2 we did both together and each time had a chemical the 3rd one we just transferred one, it did stick we had a miscarriage at 9 weeks but I do think it gave it the best chance and at least we know it wasn’t caused by transferring one poor one with the good one. My clinic said there is some evidence of this causing early miscarriage although not conclusive yet so I completely understand why you went with this option and I think I might have done the same. Hope the 2WW goes quick for you and you get good news 🤞🏽🤗 xx
it was such difficult decision because you just really one to hold on to that embryo but I just had to balance the risk and from other studies I read it’s not recommended to transfer one good and one not so good together.
Thank you for telling me your story I’m so sorry for your loss, it is so so hard x
