We are due to have our first frozen transfer this Wednesday (15th) and was wondering if anyone else will be starting there TWW this week?
This is our fourth transfer, We previously has three fresh cycles at another clinic, first one was a MC at 6 weeks and then following that two BFN. Never had anything to freeze 😢
Feeling frustrated and like we weren’t being listened to, we moved clinics and did our first short protocol with freeze all approach. We were amazed to end up with 3 beauties in the freezer and feeling excited but very nervous about another transfer. Trying to think positive but my head is already preparing myself for it to fail.

Someone recommended the Mindfulness IVF app to me. Wasn’t sure I’d be into it ...... but I downloaded it and think it good for getting your brain calm when it flickers to panic/negative stuff. It’s free and has sleep stuff, anxiety stuff etc then there’s a frozen cycle section for £2.99 I think. Etc etc. I use it at night mostly when my brain takes off. Tried it this morning too and it defo makes you calm your brain and mind. I can’t even imagine your anxiety.
Try to get your head in the ‘here and now’ mode. The app says ‘I am here, I am ok’ etc and gets ya to breathe . Might give ya ten minutes brain break and calm your soul.
Do you note your plan for the day down? ( like Mrs Hinch style?) I literally write boring things like ‘shower, breakfast, make soup, movie’ etc etc and tick the day off as I go. It helps me chunk the day and plan ‘rest’ and ‘me focused’ slots. I also put in medication etc . Feels like the passing of time is sorted and that I’m in control of something.
Over next wee while I’m going to try and do slots of reading , the mindfulness app and colouring in 😂🤣😂🤣 ugh sound ridiculous but my counsellor recommended having 4/5 things to do to keep my mind running over negative and let me get my mind calm which keeps my body calm. He even suggested getting a simple word search book or something if other stuff was too taxing .
At end of the day the simple wee plans throughout the day give me control of the routine and keep my brain calmly occupied.
Maybe some of these ideas would help you too? If not , just know I’m thinking of you and hoping for the best this time 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much, I will definitely give the app a go! I am definitely trying to keep busy and it’s helping. Honestly I haven’t really worried about any of it until today and then it suddenly hit me I’m going to be in that dreaded tww again in just a few days and the realisation that it might not work. Never gets easier does it?! 🤯

Hi Kibo, I had an embryo transfer today so will just be a couple of days ahead of you. This is my first transfer so I don't have anything to compare it to. My otd will be Friday 24th.
