hello, I’m also 5dp5dt 😊 it’s dragging!! This is my 5th transfer and I have a 3 year old from my third transfer. I’ve had on and off symptoms each time so I think it’s just from the hormones although of course I analyse every little thing! It’s hard not to! I would say though there is no way of knowing. I just feel normal at the moment. I had some cramps after the transfer up to day 3 and now nothing really.
Sorry to hear this is your last transfer. That must be so stressful for you. I really hope this is your time!!! Xx
Not till the 18th but I think I will test at 10 days post as I had a strong positive with my boy then so I’d like to compare it to that. My clinic used to do bloods then but now it’s hpt it’s a little later. I’ll continue with meds until 18th whatever but at least it will give me a bit of time for it to sink in. I was really gutted last time as it was my last ‘good’ embryo but I’m trying to to focus too much on the fact it’s a poor one this time and just trying my best. Not that there’s anything you can do to influence things I don’t think.
A holiday sounds like a lovely plan, especially if you can celebrate. I really wish that for you! Xx
It's totally normal to have no symptoms after a FET. Medication is less than a fresh transfer and the body doesn't exhibit as many 'symptoms' because of this.
Our fresh cycle failed, despite al the symptoms under then sun.
Our FET worked (13w4d) despite having absolutely no symptoms.
Hello, I thought you’d like to know. I have tested today 15dpt (after holidays) and it came back negative. That was our last embryo, back to square one.
I do not want to give up but I’d like to know what is wrong. My clinic says it is due to the quality of the embryos which may be poor due to my age. I thought I had done quite well with 6 day 5 embryos frozen but here I am again empty hands.
Are there any clinics specialised in over 40s? Also maybe looking abroad?
