Pain when I pee

It’s been exactly a week since my egg retrieval (and 2 days since transfer) & although all my other post-retrieval effects have now gone I still have this niggling pain when I pee. It’s especially noticeable first thing in the morning (the first wee of the day).I’m prone to UTIs but this is a completely different pain. Has anyone else had this & if so, how long did it last?

I had issues peeing and with my bladder after my egg collection. It turned out that the needle had nicked my bladder during the procedure and I had a blood clot in my bladder. It resolved itself within a few days without any treatment, but I would definitely call your clinic and ask for guidance. Feel better soon!

Thank you. Thankfully, the pain seemed to completely vanish yesterday. It didn’t even seem to fade away. It went from being there, to not being there, just like that! I guess it was just my insides healing!
