late period after egg retrieval and continuing ivf

hi all

ihave done duo stim egg retrieval back in sept/oct - basically 2 rounds back to back. First round was great, second round my body struggled and my results were not fantastic either

I'm waiting to do my third round but my period is nearly 6 weeks late. I've read on here it's fairly common but the thing I'm now worried about is if the lateness will have a negative impact on 3rd round of egg retrieval

has anyone any experience with this!

ps I have endeometriosis and low amh and dor. Dr told me in June I don't have much time left with my ovarian reserve

Hk Bfeca ac. It’s a lot to put yourself through a third cycle, so I’m not surprised your period is late this time. Your specialist obviously thinks you can do it, fpso good luck. Diane

Back to back never worked for me. I had the same problem. They only collected 1 egg third round and didn't even fertilised. Give your body break. Couple of months won't make much difference

Did my egg retrieval end of march 2024. Froze all my embryos because I got ovarian hyperstimulation (OHSS). I have PCOS and my cycles are usually around 30 days. I got my 1st period 5 days after my egg retrieval (which was early at day 19). Got my 2nd period really late (at day 42).
