I’m half way through an FET - went straight into this one off the back of a failed round so been on Progynova oestrogen x3/4 per day for about 7 weeks. I’m a regular gym goer and teach classes at a gym too, but recently I’m finding exercise so hard and really suffering with a sore lower back and hips which is unusual for me. Convinced that the hormones are having an effect. Is that a thing?! My energy levels are ok, it’s more that I my body feels weak 😩 Has anyone else had similar?

Fellow gym goers during FET…

yes, same! I go to the gym multiple times a week and currently on an FET cycle.
I did a session like usual and then for the rest of the week I was knackered. Very sore, exhausted.
And the closer we get to transfer the more I get this sensation that I feel weaker, though personally I also have nausea and tiredness.
I’ve switched to mobility and flexibility exercising instead as well as my daily walks for cardio.
Its so triggering to feel this way haha… but I’m sure it’s temporary
I’m glad it’s not just me!! I’ve got a dog so walking is a big part of my life. I do yoga too but even that is so hard sometimes. My actual joints feel weak and my muscles fatigue so much quicker on the oestrogen 😂😩 I’ve just started on progesterone so the tiredness is really about up now as well. Hopefully temporary like you say 🤍 best of luck with everything xxxx
Yes! I am a fellow gym goer, and went 5 times a week before transfer. I found the longer I was on medication the less stamina I had at the gym on my usual circuits and the more rest days I needed.
My advice is listen to your body, and rest when it tells you to rest, as much as possible, with your teaching xxx

I slept more than I remember ever sleeping in my whole entire life. Even 4k steps a day seems like a K2 hike. Gentle yoga feels like an accomplishment. Cooking is basically how I get my exercise these days and I am thankful (and scared) as hell that I am not working at the moment. The jury is out on what kind of exercise we are even allowed to do (at least in my case, high risk pregnancy with triplets), so I am trying to stick to light stretching, no abs, no impact and absolutely no lifting. Almost at the end of my first trimester and progesterone levels decreasing has made a huge impact on my energy levels, but I am still exhausted like 60% of the time (vs. 90%). I am told T2 is easier and you feel almost like your normal self. Let’s see.
