I had an ivf cycle cancelled as I wasn’t responding to injections. Stopped injections after about 7 days
I am now on day 35 of cycle and no period. Is this normal? Will it be injections/stress that have delayed things? When should I be worried (normal cycle is 27/29 days)

Hi there, this happened to me too. i was a poor responder. my period came after 7 days due to all the drugs including clomid. doc said my period would be late or i may even skip a month. thankfully i didn't but since then my periods haven't been the same. i wouldn normally bleed 6-7 days since then i only bleed 3 days.
Ah ok. Not speaking to my doc for another fortnight yet so hopefully things may have happened by then. It feels like you’re forever waiting in this process!
What injections were they? I didn’t respond to buserelin so they couldn’t downregulate me and cancelled the cycle after 4 weeks of trying (rather than the 10 days). They said I would bleed within a few days but it took 5 weeks and they gave me provera in the end. The drugs just really messed my normally clockwork cycle up and it’s still not back to normal (I since had a short protocol and a freeze all and am waiting for FET cycle). It’s probably just your body trying to get to everything out your system x
It was the follicle stimulation and I’d just started the antagonist ones. So gonal and certroride. Had my usual pre period headache but no bleed yet. Trying not to worry
The cetrotide will have stopped you ovulating so it won’t be a period as such but a withdrawal bleed which I guess isn’t as predictable as a period because your cycle has been taken control of by the drugs and the clinic and then suddenly stopped so your body will probably just take a bit of time to figure out what it needs to do. I wouldn’t worry - I’m usually like clockwork but every attempt I’ve had at anything in ivf has led to delays in bleeds. Definitely call your clinic if you’re concerned though - I know the frustration all too well as after a cancellation you just want to move on and try something different x
