IVF and donor sperm with pcos and stage 4 endometriosis

Hi everyone! I’m new to this so bare with me. I’ve written a post about my situation and just wondered if everyone could take the time to read it and if anyone has been in or is in my current situation or has any good ideas to become successful with my one free go of ivf and donor sperm with pcos and endo stage 4 to give me a message. Wishing you good luck! The only thing you can do is be in the best of health possible eat well keep hydrated and get plenty of rest maybe take pregnancy supplement? The rest is out of your hands but the good news is it can work even with endo and Pco as happened for my daughter now 9 weeks x

Congratulations to your daughter I wish her a successful pregnancy .. if you don’t mind me asking what stage of endo is your daughter? I’m stage 4 the most servere and how did she conceive was it through ivf? The supplements sounds like a good idea. Thank you x

They didn't give her a stage but said it was severe and widespread she had surgery before having IVF she also has polycystic ovaries and large cyst was removed also .She has had 2 scans now and all well so far but we are still on pins I'm hoping she will be able to enjoy the middle and later stages of pregnancy she was very afraid and depressed about having IVF but as I said Don't give up hope cos it can happen wishing you all the best x

Yeah so I’m guessing she has the same stage as me. They didn’t remove mine they told me that in some cases it can cause more bad than good to the organs so they’ve left It for now. Which confuses and upsets me because others have had it removed. How many goes of ivf did she have? And was it ivf we’re her egg and the sperm was placed into a dish and then her womb? Do you know if she had anything before the ivf like a endometrial scratch where they scratch the womb to increase chances of pregnancy being successful or the embryo glue?

Well apparently the cyst had to be removed and the surgeon said he would remove as much endo as possible she had already lost a tube due to a previous ectopic pregnancy.yes she had endo scratch and embryo glue and got 11 eggs 9 fertilised yes just mixed eggs and sperm together then 5 day transfer of 1 lovely embryo and 2 went to the freezer! The 2ww was hard as emotions so up and down but then the wait for scans I think is even harder but we are so grateful that the procedure worked x

Good luck in your journey. My advice would be to eat well relax and stay stress free as possible. Not has easy while doing ivf but positive thinking may help. 😁

Hiya, I have endo and pcos and so far 2 failed Ivf cycles . Maybe worth trying to convince your consultant for ICSI as well because egg quality & fertilisation can be affected by endo and pcos. But don't worry too much about it. Also Myo-inositol and folic acid are very useful for PCOS egg quality. Your young age works well in your favour. Try to be as positive and relaxed through the process; even try to Enjoy it!

I’m not sure what the icsi is? My tubes are blocked so can’t conceive naturally only by them removing my eggs and placing them in a dish to see if they fertilise. And I’m also looking into donor sperm as you said the endo and pcos can effect a persons egg quality and ive the worst case of endo stage 4. So I doubt my age really means anything so I thinking of not waiting around for the right person and just going ahead for my first child with donor sperm

ICSI is a process which involves injecting the sperm directly into the egg to make the fertilisation process easier in the dish.All woman are different and the outcome will depend on many factors. I noticed younger woman (less than 25year old) tend to have better success rate so all you need is to remain positive and relaxed through the process. Good luck!

That must be what Im wanting is called then I’ve no clue. I just no I’m going to need ivf. I’m trying to eat much healthier and be more relaxed and hopefully when my time comes it does work!
