Hi All, I have one question. Is Estrogen and clexane should be taken after ET?

Estrogen and clexane medicines compulsory in IVF treatment?
I started estrogen on day 2 of my period for FET and Clexane after transfer. Good luck x
if it’s a down reg FET the estrogen is taken before hand, during and after to help thicken and maintain the lining. Not everyone has it but If you have been prescribed clexane you take it from day of transfer as it prevents clotting. Your clinic will give you specific details of what and when to take though xx
Thank you mine is a fresh embryo transfer. I wasn't given any estrogen and no clexane prescribed. I don't know what was my endometrium thickness at the time of ET. The last I knew was before egg retrieval which was around 10.3mm. So I'm bit worried here about my thickness
Yeah no estrogen for fresh transfer (your ovaries are ‘awake’ for egg collection and so your lining is already made naturally by your body) and you only get clexane if you have, or are suspected to have, any clotting issues with your lining. All you normally get for fresh transfer is some progesterone support unless something else has been identified through your treatment. I’ve never had my lining measured before fresh transfer either all sounds normal and nothing to be worried about at all over 10mm is fab and it will probs have been a little bit more too! 🤗💜 xx
