Norethisterone

Hi everyone, I’m currently on Norethisterone tablets ahead of stims and egg collection. I’m a little confused on timing of period though. I was told to order my meds on the first day of my last natural period - which was the 30th Sept. The clinic then sent my meds, and told me to start taking Norethisterone on 7th November for 13 days. I’m due to take my last tablet on 19th November, and then wait for the bleed. But my natural next period wouldn’t have been due until around 25th / 26th November. . Will my period start sooner because of the impact of the Norethisterone? Do the tablets create a ‘fake period’ (if that makes sense)? As the clinic has stated the bleed needs to start within 5 days of coming off the tablets, to then allow me to start the injections. And I’m just worried my natural period wouldn’t have been due for 6-7 days. Thanks in advance, finding this community so unbelievably helpful! x

Hi Mini, my period came about 2-3 days after stopping. I think that’s the point of norethisterone, they use it to time your period. So try not to worry, it should show up on time 🙂 good luck x
