Nervous as about to embark on my 11th transfer.. Any tips?

So.. I haven't posted in a while.. I had my 9th transfer this time last year and got pregnant.. One embryo split and I was expecting identical twins however at 8 weeks no heartbeat. This was my 3rd miscarriage (always between 7-8 weeks) but first with twins. I did another round in May but that didn't work. I've had the summer to have a break and now I'm going to use 2 genetically tested embryos..with my last 2 neither implanted on 2 separate transfers. The doctor will put these 2 in together this time due to my history and the fact I'm now 44. I feel so nervous and worried and am so tired of injections, butI know I don't have many attempts left. How can I lift my spirits as I know I need to be thinking positively if this is to work... Transfer should be in about 10/12 days depending on lining.

Hi Snow. Well, let’s hope you’ve saved the best till last and they will love their new home. Keep up with prescribed medication and no cheating until the day your clinic advise. Plenty of pineapple core too. Thinking of you big. Diane

Thanks Diane, I've already cut out caffeine and sugar and switched to a high protein diet.. If these don't work I've got 2 3bb embryos from 2019 (the batch where 2 of my pregnancies came from).. Then I'm done as I can't face going through another retrieval.

Hi Snow. Hopefully a little boost for you. When I first started out in fertility, only 3Day embryos were transferred, as we didn’t have the expertise to grow them on to a. 5Day blastocyst. They gave us a good 30% + success rate, so I’m hoping that if natural wats don’t work, one of your little ones will be the one. Thinking of you. Diane

it’s really heartbreaking reading ur story.

I can feel ur pain & heartbreak each step of ur journey. Can I ask, were you unable to get pregnant naturally before IVF?

What is the clinic trying differently this time? Do you have progesterone after transfer?

Wishing you lots of luck x

Hi, thanks for your message. .. no I wasn't able to get pregnant naturally. . My husband had low sperm pcos and I have pcos plus very high levels of natural killer cells. After the first few failures we did intralipids and steroids and now after the miscarriages I use hcq plus intralipids plus steroids. After transfer I have progesterone pessaries, one injection every few days plus duphaston twice a day so lots of progesterone added. Nothing different this time except embryos have been tested.
