I'm posting this for 2 reasons, 1. To say thanks for the support of this group at times when I needed it most, not just answering questions but me reading other posts that helped me remain hopeful and 2. To hopefully give others hope when it seems as though things are not going your way!
We had our 12 week scan today and all is good with our twins from DEs. It was our 4th and last shot at IVF and can't believe we've got this far! It's not been without its problems.
Before the transfer my lining was really thin so that was panic number 1, my consultant upped the progynova and Utrogestan to mega doses and even on transfer day my lining was only 6.5 so that was panic number 2. We got out BFP and were over the moon but soon after I had a big bleed and was told to rest so panic number 3 was well underway. Then at 7 weeks had another large bleed and at that point we definitely thought that was the end. We had a scan and saw 2 heartbeats!!! I won't lie it's been an anxious time since then but today is another milestone. I really hope that our story gives you hope! I'm 45 and my husband is 49 and we are pregnant with twins!!! π³π π
