Period symptoms mean FET failed to implant 😭

Just done a Google.. I know bad but post came up that said if you having your usual period symptoms then it's most likely that your ivf hasn't worked!

Anyone have any postives about their FET working with having usual period symptoms?

I felt so optimistic and now flat and down x

I've read that period symptoms can be remarkable similar to early pregnancy symptoms, so you're definitely not out yet! Good luck x

Um, no, opposite for me - successful FET I had intense cramps and some spotting, and then boobs hurt etc. This time I didn't know I was pregnant (didn't think it could ever happen naturally) and I had cramps, mood swings, spotting, back ache, sore boobs... assumed it was my period. So I think it can be very similar. But equally if you get zero symptoms that doesn't mean much either as everyone has such different experiences. I'd just stay off Google if you can x

thank you, promised i'd be more relaxed this time but can't help myself. no cramps just the usual tell tale signs I have when period is on the way x

Every positive I have had in IVF I have always had that heavy feeling like my period was coming. Ignore the site you were on because every site I've ever referred to over the years seems to suggest the opposite and early pregnancy symptoms are very similar to period symptoms so keep positive. Not over by a long shot.

Just to reassure you that period symptom does not always means FET didn't work. I had period symptom from two FETs and they were both positive. If you search through this forum with the title "Knicker Watch or something", I remember there was a comment like this 4 years ago and had a lot of feedbacks. I wish you a successful FET.
