I would welcome advices of everyone going throughout a similar process. We have discovered that my husband has some issues to naturally conceive and I have recently reached 40 year old age. We went through 2 cycles but unfortunately eggs arrested on day 3.I don’t have any known issue and my egg ovary and everything else seems to work fine
. As a result, I was prescribed different medecines but I am afraid that they can cancel each other and slso other side effects:
- melatonin 3mg - i am having some tinnitus that I think might resulted from it
- pregnancy care multivitamins
- Levothyroxine 50mg
- metformin 100 mg
- coz10 400mg
thank you in advance!

Hi. Most of the medication you have been prescribed because you need it, such as levothyroxine and metformin. The multivitamin should be ok too. Check with your clinic if you need coq10 or anything else. Good luck. Diane
Folate, vitamin D, Omega 3 fish oil , CoQ 10 and prenatal multivitamin. That's what I used. I am preg ant again for my 3rd naturally but my first was through IVF. I wish you all the best. xx
Hi,I'm not qualified to give advice, but I have heard that melatonin can impact hypothyroidism. This might be one of those divided opinions with no extensive research, so it is best to consult your doctor.
Hi. Has your fsh been tested? I found closer to 41 my fsh rose which affects egg quality. You could try doing oestrogen priming. Also ask about dhea. This can affect egg quality and quantity. Vitamin D and ubiquinol are also good. I was on 3000iu a day of vitamin D and 200mg of ubiquinol x3 times a day. Avoid CoQ10. It must be ubiquinol.
Ubiquinol is better if over 35. With CoQ10 it takes longer for body to convert it into what it needs. With ubiquinol it’s already in the form you need.
