Optimal waiting time for FET post hysteroscopy

Hi everyone,

Any idea what should be ideal waiting time after hysteroscopy for FET ?

I had a hysteroscopy and polypectomy, followed by withdrawal bleed. I started my FET cycle on my next period and was successful, so that worked for me in 2020. Could be that the implantation cut helped. Best of luck 🤞

It might depend on the hysteroscopy procedure. If the wound is big, it might be better to wait more than a month. For me, I had last one with seven days bleeding afterwards. I felt one month is not enough. I also had two procedures with only afternoon bleeding, too. I felt fine to proceed in next cycle.

definitely depends on what you’re doing / side of what you’re taking out.

I waited 2/3 months. It’s vital that your lining has made a full recovery as you don’t want to have a risk of failed implantation. Probably best you follow your doctors advice x

ask them as if it’s just diagnostic one where they have a look then straight next cycle is fine. But if you’ve had something done during the procedure advice on wait will vary depending on what you had done x
