Today I had a third tracking scan after 11 days of stims and have been asked to keep on the meds for at least two more days to allow more time for the follicles to grow. The nurse did mention this can have an impact on egg quality, so wondered if anyone has been on stims for longer than 11 days and what their fertilisation / blastocyst rate was like?
My last cycle I triggered on day 12 and 6 of my 7 mature eggs made it to blastocyst…

In my last cycle I ended up doing the egg collection on day 16 (triggered on day 14) and it was fine - we got 16 eggs, and 12 fertilised. We only got 3 blasts, but that’s normal for us unfortunately as always have a big drop off.
My clinic did the same for the last cycle to improve the follicle growth.Instead of 11 originally reported, they harvested 14, 13 fertilised and 4 became blastocysts. I'm 43 and husband 41.
The results were better than the first cycle where I was on stims for a shorter period of time. (9 eggs, 7 fertilised and 2 blasts)
