Stims

Had a scan last Thursday so would have been day 8 of stims and my follicles were still on the smaller side. Biggest two of the seven were 10mm and 11mm. Had a day 13 scan today and my biggest is 16mm. Eight follicles in total there was two 13mm and two 14mm. Nurse wants me on stims for another day and to have another scan tomorrow to see if they can get me in for egg collection on Friday, if not it'll be Monday (if they continue growing). Feeling a bit deflated with the delays and worrying they're not growing as fast as they should be.

I wouldn’t worry too much, my best results for maturation rate have been from slow growing follies. I see it as giving them extra time to mature!

Might also be an idea to ask for blood tests to see if your hormones are where they should be, or if they need to up stims?

Yeah I'm gonna ask them today if they still haven't grown enough. Fingers crossed they're a bit bigger and ready for collection. It's stressing me out as I took the week off work so I didn't have to worry about scans and the collection but now it might be next week and I'll need to sort of cover for the store again.

I totally get it, it’s so frustrating not being able to be 100% of when things might happen! Really hope it goes well for you!

We had to cancel the cycle 😔 Waiting on withdrawal bleed and period and they're gonna try again with a higher dose of meds.
