Follicle growth rates

I had my second tracking scan today for my second cycle of IVF, and things aren’t looking great. I’m 43, amh is 7 and afc 14, I’m on 450iu ovaleap.

My first scan on day 7 I had one v big follicle (over 20mm), 2 over 10mm, 6/7 below 6mm. At todays scan (day 9), the big one is now nearly 30mm, but the rest of them have only grown 1-2mm.

Has anyone had anything similar, did any of the smaller ones grow much? They can’t up my dose as I’m already on maximum, and I’m assuming the big one is now too big. I’m supposed to have another scan on Monday, but I’m waiting for a call from the clinic later, and worried they might just say to cancel the cycle…

Hi km. it looks like you might be ovulating. Unless they are going to give you something to prevent that, or even may be change to insemination, I don’t know, but you need to get clear guidance. Good luck. Diane

Thanks Diane, I’m doing a long protocol so am on buserelin which I thought was meant to prevent that. I’ll wait for my call from my clinic to see what they say…
