hi, I had my 5th transfer on 19th July and had my first positive since my Misscarriage. I am now 7 weeks and have been on prolutex (progesterone injection) and clexane since the transfer. I’ve been bruising pretty bad on my stomach but today pretty much overnight all of my bruises have disappeared and not a single drop of blood when doing the injections……. This feels strange with my last pregnancy I started bleeding at 7 weeks I feel really worried this could be a sign or something. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi! I'm sorry I don't know anything about this but I wanted to congratulate you on your pregnancy, I'm currently 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant, maybe call a midwife or see a doctor for reassurance, I hope everything is ok xx

hey 🤗 congratulations I’m not sure on this one I know I was dehydrated from morning sickness at your stage and had a lot less blood to give and it does flow to the uterus etc. but you might get more answers posting this on the pregnancy after fertility page as the ladies on there will be or have been in a similar position to yourself with the continuing injections after a BFP. Good luck xx

Hi! I’ve been on Clexane injections, I think I only got 1 single bruise in over 6 weeks of injections! Bruises sometimes come from injecting with the needle just under your skin instead of deep into it (I’m also a midwife 😉), so enjoy this absence of side effects and keep going with the medications as prescribed. Best of luck! 🌸

Hi 8465. Always make sure you push the needle in slowly, inject slowly and pull needle out slowly. Hopefully, less bruising. Good luck. Diane
