I’m currently on 8dpt and in the second week of my tww. This is my first cycle and never been pregnant before. I’ve been having stomach cramps and very sore breasts but I’m taking cyclogest 400mg I’m putting the symptoms down to this possibly so far . The tww is driving me nuts waiting till Saturday to do on the day testing. No sign of implantation bleed has anybody else not had a bleed and had stomach cramps ?

Hi sazzyt. Yes, it’s the most difficult time to endure. Keep busy and continue taking any prescribed medication and test on the day recommended by your clinic, using the first urine of the day. I agree some of the feelings you have are probably down to the progesterone. Good luck. Diane

hey there stay strong! It definitely is best to wait until test day. Try not to think about the symptoms because they could be down to the progesterone. However cramps are a very normal symptom so it’s not a worry if you see no bleeding.

hi, I never had an implantation bleed for all 3 of my positives. I also had period style cramps, and they were really bad on my final transfer. That was the one that resulted in my daughter (first two were early miscarriages). Progesterone really does play havoc, so best to just keep busy and not read too much into anything. Easier said than done I know!

sazzyt123 Im similar to Jen85 my cramps were period like as well. I had a very sharp (falling to my knees) kind of pain one evening in the TWW followed by a coffee ground kind of bleed a few days later. All was ok and I got my BFP (solid line) like 16-18dpt.

Hi Sazzy, I've had 3 pregnancies in total. The first I had mild cramping for about 2 days followed by very light spotting which I assume was implantation bleeding. The second (chemical pregnancy) I also had very mild cramping, but no bleeding. The third pregnancy I had stronger period like cramping than the first two and thought my period was going to start, but I had no bleeding. Implantation bleeding is not a given and symptoms can vary between pregnancies. Very best of luck to you for when you test.

Hi, my first transfer I had very light cramping after about a week and it failed. The second transfer, I had no symptoms at all but my next cycle started very early. My third transfer, I had cramping from about 5 days in and no implantation bleeding - just a tiny bit of pink/brown discharge the two days before a positive test on day 15. It can vary so much and as you say anything you feel at this stage could be down to the progesterone. Hang in there!!

thanks for all your comments . I tested on Saturday (otd) and I got a bfp !! I was shocked I was quite sure it hadn’t worked. Just keeping everything crossed now it goes well. My first ever pregnancy. Got a scan with the clinic booked in for two weeks I will be 7 weeks by then and if everything goes well I will be discharged. Just hope this baby sticks around 🍍
