3rd times a charm? Injection advice pls

We had our 3rd transfer on Wednesday.

Some of you may remember we had a bfp from our March transfer. We got to just under 9 weeks and saw the heartbeat on the scan and unfortunately then miscarried.

I have some other health issues and when I returned this time it was thought that it was my other meds that interfered.

I didn’t go back on my other medication after the loss so it’s a clean try this time.

We are very hopeful.

We had 3 x 5 day blasts thawed and transferred. I didn’t have a full enough bladder and they didn’t explain what was happening but they inserted a needle from inside my vagina and squeezed a drip bag really hard to fill me up. It was not something I was prepared for but they couldn’t wait I guess. After the procedure when I was allowed to use the bed pan it was the most odd feeling to pee very cold liquid! Despite the surprise it wasn’t exactly painful so don’t worry if any of you have this.

Fingers are crossed as the tww has begun. While we are still in Cyprus it’s easy to wait but we fly back Saturday.

Quick question

Has anyone had issues getting the needle in your tummy with the blood thinners? I wondered if it’s ok to moisturise the tummy?

Hi Anglo-Italia. all the best this time. Always push needle in slowly, inject slowly and pull needle out slowly = less bruising. Good luck. Diane

Thanks I’m just struggling to actually get it through some of my skin. It’s odd for sure.

what a time you’ve had 💜 but amazing you have a little embryo on board! I find pinching as much skin as possible helps with clexane to get the needle in but then slowly let the skin go before injecting (very slowly as Diane says) you do sometimes have to gently push through some resistance with that one if lots of resistance though I just try another spot but it will go in xx
