Following my previous post from having 26 eggs collected and 9 fertilise, our day 5 call was today and 3 embryos have made it to day 5. I’m happy that we’ve got some to have biopsied but I’m scared the odds won’t be in our favour.
For each EC I've had (3 in total) we have ended with 3 blastocysts:
First round: 2 unaffected / 1 affected
Second round: 1 unaffected / 2 affected
None implanted for me even though docs say that my FET medication response was “straightforward”, lining was optimal every time etc.
Does anyone have any success stories on their final NHS funded rounds? Feel a bit all over the place at present 😣

I had 1 fresh embryo transfer and 2 FET but all failed. For my next egg collection I am opting for PGT-A. Dr also recommended me to do hysteroscopy as I had chemical pregnancy during my last FET.Not sure if you did hysteroscopy before.
You might also want to discuss with your doctor if more blood tests are needed to rule out other medical conditions that may affect your chances.
I am also worried if PGT-A will indicate all my embryos have genetic abnormality as I am 38 yo.
Sorry I am not a success story but just wanted to share what my doctor recommended me.
I haven’t had a hysteroscopy before so I might bring that up as well as the blood testing. With my clinic they do PGT-A as a standard test as I am going through PGT-M for a 50/50 genetic condition. My last round with the one unaffected embryo was deemed “normal” with the PGT-A result. They didn’t run the PGT-A test on the affected embryos as they were never going to be transferred as they have the condition we’re wanting to avoid.
I’m sorry that you haven’t had success with this treatment either, it’s such a difficult thing to deal with especially when there isn’t a definitive answer as to why it doesn’t work out 😣
