Update on EC- I've had the call

I thought I would just do a quick update on my earlier post. I've had the call from the embryologist and I'm speechless- out of 14 eggs 12 have fertilised.

The plan is grow as many as possible to day 5 blastocyst, then biopsy for PGA testing- I'm 41. And then to freeze and plan for FET.

I know it's all a numbers game from here on and that they will reduce but I can't believe that I have 12 embryos at this stage. Last time I had only 1. Today is a good day

All I can say to anyone who has felt as despondent as I have, never give up hope because every cycle is so different. And take reassurance with each little milestone you achieve

Great result! Fingers crossed 🤞 you have all the changes. I also tested my embryos, now I am waiting for my transfer in October. It is such a long waiting game 😤🙄
