Heavy period after ovitrille trigger

Hello all

I had my first successful egg collection begining of June, which was mature and fertilised. Now 3 day embryo is waiting in the freezer for me to hopefully collect a few more eggs before a transfer. I know earlybdays but was so happy to find out I still produce egg which can be collected unlike my first clinic.

Th is time the trigger I used was ovitrille. As expected i got my period on Thursday but the flow has been so heavy.... Literally changing every few hours. Day 4 and I think it's starting to slow down. I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience with ovitrille and a heavy period.

If you were on other meds to encourage your eggs to grow -this in turn can also thicken the womb lining and this can result in a heavier period

Thanks Janet. I had a natural cycle with only the trigger. First time I've had ovitrille which is why I thought that might be the cause but maybe not
