Period after ivf failure

Hi everyone hope you all are well. I had a failed ivf in August my first period was normal a bit heavy but the same length. My second period which should be this week has consisted of spotting and no pain. I think it’s a period ? How likely would it be implantation bleeding? Anyone else experience this during a failed ivf ?

Hi Shazzyb. Your cycle can take up to 3 months to return to what is normal to you. Should you continue to have some spotting before a period, then it might be down to a short luteal phase, which can be checked with a blood test. Hope all soon settles. Diane

i normally have a thick lining my pinning was 9mm before embryo transfer. Let’s see what this cycle brings

My second period after a failed cycle always took a while to show up and that seems to be pretty common so you may just have some spotting on the lead up to your period but I guess if you have been trying then you never know.xx
