Transfer date for FET

I’m having another FET this month.. just curious what date in their cycle others have had their embryos transferred?

This is a medicated cycle… using Oestriadol throughout and Fyremadel for 1st 7 days of cycle. So believe this stops me from ovulating.

My last FET transfer was on day 18 and at the moment this one is planned in for day 19 which I know might change after my day 12 scan.

Just curious if transfer day affects them implanting?

What matters is where your hormone levels are at. Your doctor should be monitoring this, and you will likely be asked to begin progesterone or similar on a particular day, so that you'll be on the correct day of your luteal phase. So, the day itself does not matter, it's the hormonal environment of your body, which can either be monitored naturally, created with medications, or a combination of the two.

Thank you. Last time they started me on cyclogest when I had my 12 day scan so I’m assuming they will say the same this time.. I had pogesterone levels checked 4 days later and it came up low so they started me on Lubion the same day as transfer. I’m expecting it to be low like last time so looks like it be similar dates and maybe Lubion again. But the pogesterone level is the only thing they checked and also thickness of lining. Should I be asking for anymore tests?

I imagine that they will be monitoring you. They need your body's environment to match the day of the embryo. So, if your embryo is a 5 day blastocyst, they need your levels to be similar to 5 days after ovulation. For my last cycle they were not able to suppress my ovulation for some reason, so instead we controlled it by taking Ovidrel, even though this was a frozen cycle and we had no collection. We had to transfer 7 days after the first Ovidrel shot, because I would have ovulated two days after the shot, and we had a 5 day blastocyst. This was the only time we did this particular protocol. We ended up transferring on day 18 of my cycle, because we had to catch the wave of my natural hormones and force ovulation on day 13. However normally, in the past, we just suppressed my natural cycle with the medications (I'm in France so the meds are different), waited until the uterine lining was thick enough, and then began progesterone a few days before the transfer, I think maybe 2 days but I'm not sure.
