Transfer day with DE - Last chance

Hello lovelies,

We went the DE route, has I am nearly 44. Was a bit deflated with the embryo outcome… a 6 day blastocyst 3BB.

Today is transfer day, at 11h30, and it will be our last chance.

Before we started treatment I made some new specific blood work, for blood clots etc. It was suppose to be ready before transfer day, but I responded so well to estrogen, that my lining was ready 1 week before… from some blood tests my doctor is inclined to give me heparin injections, but it would be better that the other test results arrived… always living on the edge 😅

Today I am feeling very peaceful, but I know that the TWW will be different and probably will go crazy.

I just wanted to say thank you for this group of supporting human beings, I may not comment a lot, but you are my company every morning when I receive the email with the posts of the day!

This is my last chance (5th transfer) after a miscarriage at week 10 (first attempt), 2 chemicals and a BFN, so I have thrown everything in and I am currently doing the ERA/ALICE (mock transfer next Thursday) and the scratch in prep for the final attempt in July. Quite likely I’ll use the last two 3BB embryos I’ve got frozen.

So far everything goes as in the previous two attempts which I find quite frustrating (nothing changes) but hopefully the test throws some light, and not everything is down to my age (44) and the egg quality! 🤞
