We are going through reciprocol IVF with my eggs being used in my partner. Today is the day of our frozen embryo transfer as our fresh didnt work. I came up with an idea to help the 2ww. I created a sort of advent calender! I thought it might be useful for others too π First day has thick sock slippers for after transfer, another has a strength bracelet, popcorn and a movie night card, a voucher for a stay at home spa day where I will give facial etc, a picnic voucher, crafts day etc. Just for something to do each day and to look forward to during what I can remember to be such a stressful time!
I have a quick question too... After transfer today we are torn on whether to get MCDs fries or eat healthily what do you guys think? And should the pineapple core be eaten before the transfer or afterwards? Thanks x

Your partner is so lucky to have someone so thoughtful!! This is lovely π
I did have the McDs fries but not the pineapple on our successful fresh transfer but not a clue if anything we did or didn't do made a difference. Do what makes you both feel good π
What a great idea - gives you something to look forward to each day ! Have a wee treat after your transfer then eat healthfully -you deserve it Good luck
Hmmm I'm having my transfer soon and might grab some fries on the way back and then go healthy straight after lol! Not sure about the core but I know afterwards is meant to be good. I'm going to do acupuncture too prob wont make a difference though lol β€ππ« best of luck xxx
Thats brilliant. Me and my fiance are doing shared motherhood too . We got our bfp couple of days ago our bloods are Monday . So fingers cross. We had a miscarriage in October so this is our rainbow baby . Good luck guys let me know how you get on xx
Thanks everyone! I've got to say the "happivent" calender has really helped us these last 8 days and I can't believe there are only 2 envelopes left until test day!! I'm starting to get nervous now. I hope you are all doing ok! X
