Yes, have been traveling with needles all the time. At least 10 times if I think about it.

Zero problems so far. I usually open my had bag and show them what’s inside and explain that they are medicines.

On the first times traveling I used to ask a letter from my clinic explaining that I needed to travel with these meds and syringes due to my treatment, but since nobody ever asked for it I stopped requesting that letter.

Hope this helps xx

Not sure how it goes for travelling to middle East countries but in Europe its fine. Keep it all in hand baggage Incase checked baggage gets lost. Take extra Incase of flight cancellations. Be careful on injecting time my clinic said i could go under 24 hours but not over.

Don't inject on a plane.

I would ask for a letter from your clinic and keep everything in your hand baggage.

Travelled with needles and meds before and wasn’t even stopped..

I've flown to and from Greece for my treatment and never had any problems. My clinic gave me a letter and nobody was even interested in looking at it to be honest although I did put them in a separate toilet bag and told staff.xx

Fantastic thanks for the feedback. Was it hold or hand luggage? xx

My hand luggage. I just told the staff at security before it went through the scanner.xx

I’ve travelled with meds before. I had a note from the hospital on me and showed security soon as I went in. Tbh They didn’t really take much notice at all.

As far as keeping the meds cold goes, I took a small coolbag with some ice packs (which I think security even let me through with) then once I got on the plane I bought a couple cold cans to put in the cool bag.

I didn’t try but the possibility of negative side effects (eg OHSS) put me off. If I got sick I wanted to be able to get help from my clinic if needed x

Definitely hand luggage so you don’t lose them, like the others I started with a letter and making a point of pointing the drugs out but stopped towards the end as no one cared!

I travelled long haul so had to inject on plane - that was fine as well so if that ever happened I wouldn’t worry about it!

Good luck with your cycle x
