Hi all, I hope everyone is managing to enjoy the bank holiday sunshine.
For those following our journey, we gave birth to our DE baby boy at the end of last year and I just wanted to say that if you’re considering using donor eggs but you’re worried about your baby not feeling like your baby - don’t. It is honestly the most amazing feeling and I promise they will feel like yours - despite the lack of your genetics. Sending love and luck to everyone ❤️

Yep I totally agree. My DE little girl is 3 months old now and I couldn’t love her any more. The lack of genetics doesn’t stop any love, she’s perfect, beautiful and mine.
I love this 💙 You gave me some really useful advice a year or so ago which I'm so appreciative of. I'm so so glad that this worked for you after you had such a terrible time. These stories of hope and success are what keep me going, so thank you ❤ xx
Beautiful photo 🥰 couldn’t be better timing of your post for me. Thank you, I am currently thinking about using DE, thank you, this is just what I needed x
Oh my goodness! What a gorgeous photo! It made my heart melt. Congratulations on your beautiful little boy! ❤️ The DE journey is not an easy journey, but I am so glad my husband and I made the decision to go for it after 7 years of heartache. I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant with our baby girl and I feel so blessed. Thank you for your post; it has made me even more excited about meeting her. xx
hi Happy2022 congratulations, I just wanted to ask if you mean double donor DD? I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I think this will be my next step trying for a sibling for my donor sperm conceived LB, I’m now 42 and my OE options are dwindling. Did you have treatment in the UK?
Hi, I don’t mind you asking at all. Yes double donor conceived, I had treatment in the UK using London egg bank, the process was really smooth and no waiting times. I decided to go ahead in October, started treatment in November and was pregnant in December 😊
I’d tried with own eggs which didn’t work so switched to donor as this was my last IVF go and I wanted to go with the option that gave me the greatest chance to have this much longed for child xx
I’m more than happy to answer any questions you may have, if I can help anyone else on their journey 😊
I used frozen eggs, I didn’t see any option for fresh with LEB. I purchased 10 eggs from 2 donors (decided as this was my last go of IVF to try one cycle with 2 different donors although all same sperm donor. I got 2 day 5 blastocysts, 1 x 5AA and 1 x 3BC, I’m currently pregnant with the 5AA xx
Sorry to butt in. Do you mind if I too ask a question. I'm wondering when you say 10 eggs, do you mean 10 eggs from each donor so you purchased 20 eggs altogether or do you mean 5 eggs from two different donors? Thank you so much x
